What is Equipment Protect?

Equipment Protect is an optional add-on that covers you for theft, loss or accidental damage in Australia, New Zealand or anywhere else in the world during a business trip for the first 28 days3. As a business, this will ensure minimal interruption should an event occur, including natural events outside your control.

Accidents are unavoidable. Equipment can get damaged or even get lost. For a small additional charge, you can add Equipment Protect to your lease for total peace of mind, knowing you're covered.

Benefits of Equipment Protect
  • Equipment Protect includes the Equipment Loaner service for laptops, smartphones, cameras and tablets. If your equipment needs repair, we'll send you a loaner device so your business doesn't suffer any downtime3

  • Equipment Protect is provided by FlexiGroup (New Zealand) Limited - not a third party. We have an implicit interest in ensuring that leased equipment remains operational in the event of an issue

  • We personally manage the entire assessment and repair process, including arranging collection of the damaged equipment

  • There's a low administration fee of $220 per contract, regardless of the finance amount or equipment value making it an attractive alternative to insurance where the excess can be considerably higher
